Who we are

Lilypad Learning Foundation ("Lilypad", "we", "us") is an Alberta-registered not-for-profit organization (Alberta Corporate Access Number 5027005866). This policy explains what personal information we collect through lilypadlearning.ca and how we use it.

What we collect

• Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), organization and message, so we can respond to your inquiry or booking request.
• Volunteer application form: your name, contact details, program and year of study, LinkedIn profile (optional), position preferences, availability, written responses and résumé, so we can assess your application and contact you about volunteer opportunities.
• Workshop surveys: anonymous pre- and post-session surveys used to evaluate program effectiveness. We do not collect names on student surveys.
• Technical data: our hosting provider may log standard technical information (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure. We do not use advertising trackers.

How we use it

We use the information you provide only to respond to you, schedule and deliver workshops, review volunteer applications, and evaluate and report on our programs in aggregate. We do not sell or rent personal information.

Sharing

Form submissions are processed by our website hosting/form provider on our behalf. We share personal information only with team members who need it to respond to you, and otherwise only where required by law.

Retention

Inquiries are kept as long as needed to respond and maintain partnership records. Volunteer applications are kept for the current recruitment cycle and up to one year afterward, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information at any time by emailing anthony.gomes@ucalgary.ca.

Youth

Our website forms are intended for adults (educators, partners and post-secondary students). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through this website.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision.
